Tips and hints for successful creating:
Adobe PDF - When uploading an Adobe PDF file be sure to specify the 'high resolution' print options for optimal
output. You will also need to embed the fonts into the document in case we do not have the specified font.
Adobe Illustrator - When uploading an Adobe Illustrator file
you will want to "Create Outlines" of the fonts, so that
the appearance of the fonts will remain as you specified.
Quark XPress - When Uploading a Quark Xpress file please include
the fonts and graphics used in your documents as part
of a zipped (compressed) file
Please send all files needed in creating your piece in one compressed (zipped) folder.
Other helpful hints and tips
Bleeds - This is where the ink extends to the edge of your finished print piece. When creating artwork for a piece with bleeds, make sure you extend your artwork at least 1/8" from the trim marks (the edge of the page)
Proofing - This is when we send you a final copy of your artwork, prior to sending to our printing press. This is the last chance you will be able to review and make correction to your art files. Be sure that everything is perfect before you approve the piece.
We can provide you with hard digital copy color digital proofs or electronic proofs, it's your choice! Digital proofs will add to the cost of your job but may be worth the expense.
PDF proofs can be sent to you via e-mail and are generally used on quick turn jobs.
